Practice test

Practice tests have a wide variety of questions, answers, robust remediation, and simulations to help you study for your desktop, IT pro, and developer certifications.

Each practice test provides both the test-taker and the instructor with instant feedback on the test taker’s progress on specific objectives, areas that require further study, and overall exam readiness. The comprehensive reports allow instructors to easily track both individual and group progress along the way.

There are two specific test-taking modes to prepare students for their certification: Certification Mode and Practice Mode. To launch it:

1. Click on the product icon.
2. Click on Begin Test.

3. Choose one of the testing modes:

• • CERTIFICATION MODE. The test administered in Certification mode closely simulates the actual testing environment users will encounter when taking a certification exam. They are timed and do not allow users to request the answers and explanations to questions until after the test.
  • PRACTICE MODE. The test administered in Practice mode allows users to highly customize their testing environment.
    • First page: the user may select how many questions they want to include in their assessment, the maximum time to finish the test, and the possibility to randomize the question order.
    • Second page: the user may select how and which questions will be shown in the test.

4. Click on Start.
5. Read carefully the explanation about the testing environment.
6. The test launches.

Assessment

An Assessment is similar to a Practice Test in Certification mode. An Assessment simulates the actual testing environment users will encounter when taking a certification exam. They are timed and do not allow users to request the answers and explanations to questions until after the test. To launch it:

1. Click on the product icon.
2. Click on Begin Test.
3. The test launches.
